Hi Darren
I installed Pedders struts/springs and foam shocks/springs many many years ago, both with 50mm lift
I did have a problem where the front struts were topping out (the opposite to bottoming out) on full extension.
I took the vehicle back to Pedders and they reset the springs slightly lower which fixed the issue with minimal change in lift.
Not sure when I installed them but they have done a couple of 100000km with no issues.
Oh, the rear shock bushes were worn and needed replacing. A call to my Pedders said they were not available and needed to replace the whole shocker. A subsequent call to Pedders head Office - they directed me to another one of their dealers who pressed new bushes into them.

I have Bilstiens and King springs with around 50mm lift, maybe a bit less.
Magic on road and great off road too.

recently replaced all the rear bushes with nolathane from autobarn, about $300 for that set. Got ripped off $400 for fitting, should have done it myself.
Fixed the death wobble.

Just bought an R51 and not sure whether to fix or wreck my R50 when I get it back from the panel shop.
Uneconomical to repair so got paid out. Not much damage but apparently Nissan don't stock the most of the parts either.

message me if you are interested I might just sell the bits off cheap.

Got my R50 back on the road for $300 in parts from the wrecker and a days work in my garage.
Now I have to pay myself $5,000, what a joke.

My experience is similar to Nick J. Same set up, same problem with rear shock bush, but my mechanic was able to adapt a leaf spring bush to fit. After 200,000km front strut shocks were shot, LHS started banging around corners. Replaced with Tough Dog raised height front shock/struts. Happy with them.

Just for the record, my Pedders front and rear went on around 60000km. We sold the pathy recently with nearly 380000km on the clock. With plenty of tough off road driving in that time. The suspension was still in great nick.

You did well Nick J. I was surprised how expensive Pedders suspension is nowadays. Out of my price range now, but quite competitive when I first had it done.
