Drawer System and Long Range Tank

Postby JordanV » Tue May 01, 2018 9:55 pm

Hi all,

took our R51 on its first tour last week after we purchased back in November '17. Went up to Uluru via the blacktop and then made our way back to Adelaide via the Oodnadatta track. Pathy went like a dream, but was a little heavy on the fuel use as we were loaded up to the brim.

Does anyone have a long range or auxilliary tank fitted to their R51 and would you recommend a particular brand/style?

Also, have found that the fridge would be much better if fitted to a slide with a drawer side by side. Could probably knock one up ourselves, but interested to see if anyone knows of any establishments in Adelaide that would have something suited to the R51.

thanks in advance.

I don't know how good Adelaide Drawer Systems (https://www.facebook.com/adelaidedrawersystems/) is, but they might be of interest to you.

You could try 4wd supacentre for the draws they're pretty good one side has a fridge slide on top
my brother has them in his patrol those ones obviously won't fit but they make ones for a smaller wagon too.
