Vibration under load

Postby Maddich » Fri Mar 02, 2018 11:21 am

Under load, even seemingly minor load such as going up a hill my pathy is giving a general vibration that just doesn't seem right. If I give her a bootful it generally resolves, however, the vibration issue hasn't always been there so it seems like something is amiss. Thoughts anyone?

Hey Maddich - I've been posting about the same issue here - viewtopic.php?f=20&t=11838 2011 Pathy ST-L. All factory standard.

My assumption was that it's the gearbox - but I just don't know for sure... was lining up to take it to a Auto specialist to see if they think it is the box.

The vibration feels like it's underneath - forwar of teh gearbox, might even be lower firewall... it's only due to 'load' on something, but what is it? which component is creating the vibration?

Damn frustrating - I am tempted to go to Nissan and tkae the service manager for a drive and let him experience it for himself...
