Help with the stereo 2000 Pathfinder!!

Postby nobby1 on Mon Mar 01, 2010 8:39 pm

HI Guys! I have just purchased a great 2000 pathfinder st and the dealer is having 'trouble' finding the owners manual. I can't get the stereo to work! It just keeps coming up with 'code 1'. Has it got a code that I need to put in in order to get it working? have the previous owners stuffed it? I have tried all the free US sites with owners manuals but they don't have the same stereo as in mine...mine is radio and CD. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

if its the original stereo, Nissan may actually be able to help (if they want to). Supposedly they have a record of all stereo codes for individual cars - tell them the VIN/rego and they can tell you the code....

Hi Nobby,
If yours is a single CD unit I would not waste to much time on it.
:?
They are not most reliable units around and You would be better off fitting a new aftermarket one and save yourself a lot trouble.
